Engineer Abdullah Arhouma, the Libyan Minister of Labour, and Engineer Haitham Hussein “are collaborating to train young people in entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and skilled trades with the aim of empowering the next generation.”
Engineer Haitham Hussein, Chairman of the “Sustainable Economic System of Egyptian Workers”, affirmed that the fraternal Egyptian-Libyan relations are historically , characterised by brotherhood, love, solidarity, and peace between the two brotherly peoples.
This comes after the recent diplomatic visit by the Libyan Minister of Labour, Dr Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhouma, to the “Egyptian Labour System” a few days ago to sign a joint “Cooperation Protocol” between the two countries.
This is in the fields of training and qualification, the operation of idle factories and production lines, entrepreneurship, and job opportunities.
Heatham Hussein also indicated that heis currently working on shaping political ideas and In the footsteps and directions the political leadership, to provide support or assistance to the brotherly Libyan people, especially in light of the geopolitical in Libya in particular, and in the Arab region in general.
His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, also received Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan National Army, at the presidential palace in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of Major General Hassan Rashad, Head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, and high-ranking officials from sides.
The meeting emphasized the strengthening, promotion and consolidation of bilateral relations between the two countries
the two brotherly countries in general, noting that the President stressed the importance of the stability, peace and unity of sisterly Libya, especially since we have close relations with it and common interests in all fields, especially those related to national security.
President Sisi pledged that Egypt would continue to make every effort and endeavor to ensure security and stability in Libya in order to preserve its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its people, and to restore its path of development and leadership, affirming Egypt’s support for all initiatives aimed at achieving all objectives.
Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Army, affirmed his deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by Egypt in restoring stability in Libya, as well as the efforts made to support and assist the Libyan brothers since the outbreak of the crisis, within the framework of the historical relations that bind the two brotherly peoples.
In a related context, Haitham Hussein added that the role played by the “Sustainable Egypt workers system” will focus on providing and transferring the necessary expertise in the industrial sector, including the operation of idle factories, restructuring, and improving production lines, in addition to supplying the required trained workforce, especially following the recent increase in the Egyptian Workers’ Union, which took place a few days ago with Dr Abdullah Al-Sharif Arhumah, the Libyan Minister of Labour, who was received by the leaders of the “complex” at that time. The increase came aimed to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the “Egyptian Workers’ complex” and the state.
Hussein clarified that he signed a “cooperation protocol” with the Libyan Ministry of Labour a few days ago, emphasising the importance of joint collaboration in the areas of training and qualification, the operation of idle factories and production lines, entrepreneurship, and providing job opportunities for young people. This is to elevate the youth towards new horizons, as “building a person is the cornerstone of building great nations.”
It is worth noting that the protocol signed between the two sides includes some of its most vital clauses, which involve organising specialised training courses to qualify young job seekers and experts from the “complex”, alongside sending batches of Libyan youth for training and qualification in the fields of entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and skilled trades at the complex in October.
